  • Excess facilities and other charges may apply if a service improvement is required at your premises.
Know When to Charge to Save Money
Terms and conditions
  • Purchased power costs incurred by BARC can be significant especially during peak electric periods. Peak electric periods are in the morning, 7am -9am and in the afternoon, 3pm-6pm. We strongly encourage members to not charge their EVs during these hours.
  • BARC is working on a special voluntary rate class for members with EVs to encourage off-peak charging. This special rate will help EV owners save money versus charging on BARC’s regular residential rate. Stay tuned for more information.
